Geovanni James, CFP®, is a Financial Planner at Occidental Asset Management, where he collaborates closely with senior advisors to develop customized financial plans and investment strategies tailored to each client’s goals. Geovanni analyzes portfolios, models retirement and tax-efficient planning scenarios, prepares client meeting materials, and coordinates onboarding and ongoing plan updates. He helps to ensure a seamless experience through proactive communication and attention to detail.
Geovanni’s experience spans both the analytical and relationship sides of planning to help clients understand complex concepts and make confident decisions about their futures. He was drawn to this profession after witnessing the clarity and peace of mind that good financial guidance can bring. What he finds most rewarding is helping clients uncover what matters most to them, aligning their money with those priorities, and watching them gain a sense of ease and direction.
Geovanni grew up in Dominica, an experience that instilled a lasting appreciation for hard work, resourcefulness, and helping others—values that shape how he builds relationships and serves clients today. Now living in Orlando, Florida, he enjoys boxing, spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and unwinding with a good comedy. He’s drawn to anything that brings more laughter, connection, and balance to life.
